The kids loved exploring the grand rooms and beautiful gardens. It was a great educational experience for them, and we all enjoyed the stunning architecture and history of the place.

My wife says that the hotel could have had more children-friendly activities.

The setting of the hotel was absolutely mind-blowing, giving us a royal feeling as we overlooked the city. Our double room with a balcony provided jaw-dropping views and had appropriately beautiful decor. The old mansion house on the hill, surrounded by vineyards, added to the overall charm of the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the rooms, although we could occasionally hear people talking in the corridor. The sauna and swimming pool were super and provided a relaxing retreat. The food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent, leaving us completely satisfied. The fantastic view alone made the stay worthwhile, and the friendly and helpful staff added to the overall positive experience. Apart from the long walk into town, which took about 30 minutes, everything about our stay was incredible. We would definitely stay here again! The lunch and breakfast were fantastic, with amazing views and great service both times.

The venue is wonderful relaxing and well-kept, its location is marvellous, just next door to overlooking the whole of Wurzburg, the tourist attractions and the Marienberg fortress. This hotel offers elegant and tastefully decorated rooms with the beautiful patio, a balcony and excellent view. The food is nice and superb.

I got a reasonably large and fashionable room on the beautiful patio overlooking wurzburg. The breakfast was great with local red wine, with excellent food. All the staff was extremely friendly, tackled my issues...

I chose Schlosshotel Steinburg specifically because I wanted to visit Marienberg Fortress. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access provided by this hotel. The onsite restaurant, Steinburgs Restaurant, served delicious meals.

The distance to the old town part of Wurzburg was quite long, about 30 minutes walking each way, with no hotel shuttle service available. Room service options were limited, but the staff allowed me to purchase a bottle of wine from their extensive wine list.
